About Dr. Gorenberg |

Dr. Alan E. Gorenberg grew up in San Bernardino, California. After completing his undergraduate training at the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor’s of Sciences in Biology, he entered medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He graduated in the top twenty five percent of his class and moved to Los Angeles, where he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. Recognizing the importance and impact of asthma and allergic diseases, he completed his fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Kaiser’s flagship hospital on Sunset in Los Angeles in two years. During his fellowship, he conducted original research on allergy mechanisms, which he presented at an international meeting. Since then, Dr. Gorenberg has been an invited speaker at many allergy & asthma care meetings. Dr. Gorenberg moved to San Bernardino in 1991 where he joined his father, Daniel Gorenberg, MD, a well-known allergist, in practice. Over the years, Dr. Alan E Gorenberg developed his practice in San Bernardino and opened a second office in Victorville. He directed the allergy clinic of San Bernardino Regional Medical Center from 1998 through 2001. Allergy physician colleagues elected Dr. Gorenberg as the President of the Inland Allergy Society, a position he has held for the last six years. Dr. Gorenberg is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and at the Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Gorenberg is the Director of the Allergy Department at the Drummond Medical Group in Ridgecrest. He has board certifications in both Internal Medicine, and Allergy and Immunology, which is conjoint board of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. |
